Join us at Spring Valley School in Birmingham on October 17 and 18 for Rise to the Challenge: IDA-AL 2019 Fall Reading Conference! We will have two full days of professional development, networking, and fellowship as we share ideas about dyslexia and how to help students rise to dyslexia challenges.
We have secured two fabulous keynote speakers who will bring wonderful insights regarding both math and reading challenges.
Our keynote speaker on Thursday will be Dr. Paul Riccomini, Associate Professor at Pennsylvania State University and co-author of Response to Intervention in Math and Developing Number Sense.
Our keynote speaker on Friday will be Dr. Hugh Catts, Professor and Director of the School of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University and author and co-author of numerous books and articles including Language and Reading Disabilities.
We will also have many additional breakout sessions covering a variety of topics related to the many challenges experienced by those with dyslexia and we hope you will make plans to join us.
