The 2019 Rise to the Challenge: IDA-AL Fall Conference was a spectacular success! We were completely “sold out” and filled every possible seat with eager professionals, parents, and friends. We enjoyed two full days of professional development, networking, and fellowship as we share ideas about dyslexia and how to help students rise to dyslexia challenges.
Our keynote speaker on Thursday was Dr. Paul Riccomini, Associate Professor at Pennsylvania State University and co-author of Response to Intervention in Math and Developing Number Sense.
Our keynote speaker on Friday was Dr. Hugh Catts, Professor and Director of the School of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University and author and co-author of numerous books and articles including Language and Reading Disabilities.
